Water Restrictions begin May 1, 2026
On April 7, 2026 and effective May 1, 2026, the Board passed RESOLUTION NO. 2026-03:

1. Outdoor Irrigation Restrictions.
Commencing on the effective date of this Resolution and continuing through September 30, 2026, no water shall be used for lawn irrigation or other purposes outside any residence, Building, or other structure, except as follows:
a. Premises with even-numbered addresses may use irrigation water on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between the hours of 12:00 AM (midnight) and 10:00 AM, and 6:00 PM through 12:00 AM (midnight).
b. Premises with odd-numbered addresses may use irrigation water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between the hours of 12:00 AM (midnight) and 10:00 AM, and 6:00 PM through 12:00 AM (midnight).
c. No irrigation shall be permitted at any time by use of a free-running hose without hand-held nozzle or sprinkler.
d. Nothing in this Resolution shall create an exception to meet a specific water-supply condition.
2. Swimming Pools and Hot Tubs.
During the term of this Resolution:
a. Swimming pools shall be limited to one filling per year, unless draining for repairs is necessary. The Customer shall notify the District in writing at least two business days prior to the filling of a swimming pool.
b. Hot tubs shall be limited to two fillings per year, unless draining for repairs is necessary.
3. Outdoor Water Features.
All outdoor water use shall remain subject to Section 4.6.4 of the District’s Rules and Regulations. Outdoor, private water features prohibited by the Rules and Regulations remain prohibited. Pre-existing water features allowed under the Rules and Regulations may continue to operate only in compliance with those Rules and Regulations. Any excessive use of water associated with the property or metered account may result in District order to remove the water feature.
4. Waste Prohibited.
Water shall be used only for beneficial purposes and shall not be wasted. Any instance of flagrant runoff or waste shall constitute a violation of this Resolution and of the District’s water-use restrictions.
Enforcement.
Violations of this Resolution shall be enforced in accordance with Section 4.6.7 of the Rules and Regulations, as follows:
a. For a first violation at a location, the Customer shall be advised in writing of the violation and informed that a monetary charge will be added to the water bill for subsequent violations.
b. For a second violation at the same location, the Customer shall be advised in writing of the violation and a $100 charge shall be added to the water bill for that location.
c. For a third or any subsequent violation at the same location, the Customer shall be advised in writing of the violation and a $500 charge shall be added to the water bill for that location.
d. Continuing waste of water or willful violation of any regulation or restriction adopted by this Resolution shall constitute cause for temporary suspension or revocation of service, following written notice and subject to Article IX of the Rules and Regulations, unless immediate action is required to protect the public health, safety, or the District’s system.
